A year of English for Class 9 on the Tamil Nadu state syllabus, following the SCERT reader through every prose lesson, poem, drama and supplementary reading. Each is taught over three short days: the lesson, then a sheet marked at once, then a recall round. The grammar the book sets unit by unit — prepositions, degrees of comparison, clauses, modals, tenses, connectors, the passive, determiners and reported speech — is taught inside the lesson it belongs to. 66 daily sessions of 10–15 minutes.

Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.
