Follows General English, Standard XI (SCERT Tamil Nadu — Free Textbook Programme, Current print)
A year of General English for Class 11 on the Tamil Nadu state syllabus, following the SCERT reader through every prose lesson, poem and supplementary reading. Each is taught over three short days: the lesson, then a sheet marked at once, then a recall round. The grammar the book sets unit by unit — determiners, modals, passivisation, conditionals, reported speech and sentence types — is taught inside the lesson it belongs to. This is General English, not the separate Communicative English paper. 57 daily sessions of 10–15 minutes.

Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.
