Follows English Second Language (Revised) — Eighth Standard, Parts I and II (Karnataka Textbook Society, 2026-27)
A year of English for Class 8 on the Karnataka state syllabus, following the KTBS English Second Language reader through both parts — all eight themed units with their prose and poems, and the supplementary reader. Each unit is taught over three short days with the grammar the syllabus sets for it, worked answers, lines to read aloud and a marked sheet. Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.
