A first year of English for Class 1 on the Karnataka state syllabus, following the KTBS English Reader cum Activity Book for Second Language, unit by unit — the letters, then fruits, vegetables, animals, the body, school, family, shapes and colours, good habits, transport, numbers and days. Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.
