Punjab State Syllabus (PSEB) — English, and General English at 11 and 12

Class 7 English — Punjab PSEB

Follows My English Companion — Class 7 (Punjab School Education Board, Prescribed for 2026-27)

A year of English for Class 7 on the Punjab state syllabus, following My English Companion — the PSEB reader — through all nine lessons and all four poems. Each is taught over three short days: the lesson, then a sheet marked at once, then a recall round. The Class 7 grammar — kinds of sentences, subject and predicate, the perfect tenses, modals, the passive voice and reported speech — is taught inside the lessons, one piece at a time. 42 daily sessions of 10–15 minutes.

Start Day 1

42 days, in the book’s own order

Every lesson in the textbook is taught over three short days rather than one long sitting — because ten minutes is a thing a child does on a bus, and forty is a thing somebody has to make them do.

Learn

What the lesson is about and the grammar it carries. About 15 minutes.

Practise

Worked examples, then a sheet marked the moment you submit it. About 15 minutes.

Recall

Read aloud, three things to remember, and questions from earlier units. About 10 minutes.

Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.

What is included
