Class 6 English — Kerala Syllabus
Follows Kerala Reader English, Standard VI (Parts 1 and 2) (SCERT Kerala, First Edition 2025)
A year of English for Class 6 on the Kerala state syllabus, following the SCERT Kerala Reader through both parts — every story, every poem. Each piece is taught over three short days: what to watch for before the class reads it, the language or writing skill it carries, worked answers, lines to read aloud, and a marked sheet, with a recall day that keeps the earlier units alive. 48 daily sessions of 10–15 minutes.

48 days, in the book’s own order
Every lesson in the textbook is taught over three short days rather than one long sitting — because ten minutes is a thing a child does on a bus, and forty is a thing somebody has to make them do.
Learn
What the lesson is about and the grammar it carries. About 15 minutes.
Practise
Worked examples, then a sheet marked the moment you submit it. About 15 minutes.
Recall
Read aloud, three things to remember, and questions from earlier units. About 10 minutes.

Every third day is a recall day, and it deliberately asks about lessons from one, three and seven units ago rather than the one just finished. Getting those wrong is the point — a thing you have to reach for is a thing you still have in March.
