Every question comes with a worked explanation and the syllabus point it tests, and every mock returns a part-by-part report that tells you which part of the paper is costing you marks.
K-TET is an eligibility test. Passing it makes you eligible to be appointed as a teacher in a government or aided school in Kerala. It is not itself a job or an appointment, and no course — including ours — can promise you one.
There is no negative marking — which changes how you should sit the paper
A wrong answer and a blank answer both score zero, so an unanswered question is a mark thrown away rather than a mark protected. Twenty blind guesses on a four-option paper are worth about five marks; twenty blanks are worth nothing, and five marks is often the difference between 88 and 93. Every mock test here reports how many you left blank for exactly that reason.

Common questions
What is K-TET, and does passing it get me a teaching job?
K-TET is the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by Pareeksha Bhavan for the Government of Kerala. Passing it makes you eligible to be appointed as a teacher in a government or aided school in Kerala. It is not itself a job or an appointment — recruitment is a separate process with its own notification, and no coaching course can promise you a post.
How many marks do I need to pass K-TET?
Sixty per cent — 90 marks out of 150 — for general candidates. OBC and OEC candidates have a three per cent relaxation, so 57 per cent, which is 86 marks. SC, ST and differently-abled candidates have a five per cent relaxation, so 55 per cent, which is 83 marks. There is no ranking and no moving cut-off; you are clearing a fixed bar, not competing with other candidates.
Is there negative marking in K-TET?
No. Each correct answer earns one mark and nothing is deducted for a wrong one. This means a blank answer and a wrong answer score exactly the same, so there is never a reason to leave a question unanswered. Twenty blind guesses on a four-option paper are worth about five marks on average; twenty blanks are worth nothing.
Which K-TET category should I sit?
Category I is for Lower Primary teaching, classes 1 to 5. Category II is for Upper Primary, classes 6 to 8. Category III is the High School route, for High School Assistant posts. Category IV covers language teachers — Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu up to Upper Primary — along with Art and Craft and Physical Education teachers. Which one you may sit depends on your teaching qualification.
How long is the K-TET certificate valid?
For life. Validity was seven years until June 2021, when it was extended to lifetime, and Kerala applied that retrospectively to every K-TET result from 2011 onwards. You pass it once and keep it.
What does the paper look like?
One hundred and fifty multiple-choice questions for 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes — one minute a question with nothing to spare. Every category has the same shape but a different mix of parts. Child Development and Pedagogy is 30 marks in Categories I, II and IV, and 40 marks as Adolescent Psychology in Category III, which makes it the highest-value part to prepare in every category.
What is free here, and what is paid?
Every part-practice set and every topic drill is free, along with one complete 150-question mock test in each category that has one. You do not need an account to read the syllabus, and you need one only to sit a test so that it can be marked and remembered. The paid test series unlocks the remaining full-length mocks; the three-month and six-month coaching courses include the test series for their category.
How do the three-month and six-month courses differ?
The three-month Fast Track covers exam craft, Child Development and Pedagogy and the subject parts of your category — enough to cover, drill and rehearse the syllabus before the next notification. The six-month Comprehensive course teaches every part from the beginning and adds extension units, previous-paper pattern work and a structured revision block. Both include the full test series for your category.
